As Susie Sees It

“As Susie sees what?”

“It.”

 “What is, it?”

“Depends on what your definition of is, is.”

“No, we are talking about what it, is.”

“Weapons of mass destruction?”

“Perhaps, if referring to the power of positive thinking.”

“Yep, thoughts sure do have power alright. Thank God we have the choice to throw some thoughts into the trash!”

“Uh, we’re not there yet… still on positive thinking. Choosing thoughts, well that comes later.”

“At this point, what difference does it make?”

“I’ll tell you what difference it makes, it makes a big difference! Like the difference between America being number one or America being number two – not huge, but big. Bigly!”

“What are you talking about? America is great, regardless.”

“America is great at number one. Number two, not so great. So I have an idea, let’s make America great again!”

“Again? Don’t you think that may be offensive to some people?”

“Again, a gain, a tisket, a tasket, oh – how would you like some AVON in a basket?”

“A gain, yes… we finally arrive at the true motive here – looking to personally gain.”

“Why is wanting to follow the one who is seeking to personally gain, so wrong? Personally, I choose to follow the one looking to gain, and not the one who wants to give it all away. I used to think this was a cold and callous way of thinking, until I saw the side that shows how giving it all away creates victims. Please don’t get me wrong, I am all for charity and for giving what we can to those in need, as long as we have something to give. So to ensure that we have it to give, we must first look for a gain. That’s how I see it anyway. So who is going to help us gain so that we may give?”
