Whatever floats my boat is it, and much of the time it comes to me as we are floating in our boat – literally. Our trip to the Keys in 2013 initially inspired this blog, specifically, The Story. “I can’t wait to tell about almost being stranded at sea,” I said to my husband on our way home. “You mean the way you see it,” Dave said. “Well of course,” I exclaimed, “I’m the one telling it!”
Other trips we have taken, about which I write, include: Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and of course, Ft. Myers. And now we can add Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, as after attending our daughter’s graduation from nursing school on May 4, 2018 in upper Michigan, we stole her for a week and went out on the town – downtown Indianapolis and then to Cedar Point – the roller coaster capital of the world.
I also write about everyday stuff, like the sunset from Sanibel at the spur of the moment and how I normally do not do “spur of the moment” very well. I write of the past, as I see it, and post photos that match. I write of interesting things I have heard.
I write about it.
